You do not claim intellectual property right or exclusive ownership to any of our products, modified or unmodified. All products are property of GPT Extension. In no event shall our company be liable for any damages including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, punitive, incidental, consequential, or other losses arising out of the use of or inability to use our products.

Use of APIs

GPT Extension utilizes two external APIs to provide core functionality:

• ChatGPT API (OpenAI): Used solely for sending and receiving chat messages between the user and the AI model. This requires an internet connection to communicate with the server where requests and responses are exchanged. None of this chat data is permanently stored by GPT Extension.
• Open-Meteo API: Used for retrieving current weather data based on the user’s location. Weather data is cached locally on the user’s device for up to 1 hour to improve performance and reduce network requests.

No personal or identifying information is stored or transmitted beyond what is necessary to provide these core features.

Responsibility of Contributors

If you operate a website, comment on a website, post material to the website, post links on the website, or otherwise make (or allow any third party to make) material available by means of the website (any such material, “Content”), you are entirely responsible for that Content and any harm resulting from it. This applies to all forms of content, including text, graphics, and software.

By making Content available, you represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to publish it and that it does not violate any applicable laws, rights, or licenses.

Without limiting those representations, GPT Extension reserves the right (though not the obligation) to remove or restrict access to any content that violates these Terms or is deemed harmful, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable.

Responsibility of Website Visitors

GPT Extension has not reviewed, and cannot review, all material posted to the Website or Chrome extension, and is not responsible for the content, use, or effects of that material. You are responsible for taking precautions to protect yourself and your computer systems from harmful or destructive content such as malware or phishing attempts.

Content Posted on Other Websites

We have no control over and are not responsible for the content or use of any third-party websites linked to or from GPT Extension. Inclusion of external links does not imply endorsement. You are responsible for verifying and protecting yourself when interacting with third-party content.

Copyright Infringement and DMCA Policy

This Agreement does not transfer from GPT Extension to you any GPT Extension or third-party intellectual property, and all right, title, and interest in and to such property remain with their respective owners. Changes

GPT Extension reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace any part of this Agreement. It is your responsibility to check this Agreement periodically for changes. Continued use of the Website or extension following any updates constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Termination

GPT Extension may terminate your access to all or any part of the Website and Chrome extension at any time, with or without cause or notice. If you wish to terminate this Agreement, you may simply stop using the Website and extension. All provisions of this Agreement which by their nature should survive termination will do so, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The materials and services provided by GPT Extension are provided “as is”. GPT Extension makes no warranties, expressed or implied, including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. GPT Extension does not warrant that its services will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of Liability

In no event will GPT Extension, or its suppliers or licensors, be liable under any contract, negligence, strict liability, or other theory for any special, incidental, or consequential damages, data loss, service interruption, or other harm arising from the use or inability to use the Website or extension. The total liability of GPT Extension for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for access to the services.

General Representation and Warranty

You represent and warrant that your use of the Website and Chrome extension will be in strict accordance with the GPT Extension Privacy Policy, with this Agreement, and with all applicable laws and regulations.
